Experienced in multi-agency working?

Call for Participants: Child First Practice in Multi-Agency safety panels

Edge Hill University, in partnership with the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales and the Youth Justice Institute, are seeking expressions of interest from professionals who have experience of participating in, or working with, multi-agency safety panels (or equivalent) within youth justice services.

Using a strengths-based approach that focuses on what works well, the study explores:

• professionals' experiences and perspectives

• decision-making within multi-agency panels

• collaborative working across agencies

• how Child First principles are understood and put into practice in high-risk contexts

Participation may involve an online interview and, where appropriate and agreed, observation of panel meetings.

Your insights will help improve understanding of effective Child First practice and may contribute to the development of new guidance on the operation of multi-agency safety panels.
